As we head back indoors I invite you to join us for a month of inner child themed kriya yoga. This archetype is one you may often hear about and have mixed feelings on. "No, I dont want to play childish games in yoga" (nope - not what happens), or "No, I am not comfortable working through childhood trauma rn" (not entirely this either).
BUT all of us have been affected by our childhoods, positively or negatively, in some way. These sessions are not about seeking revenge or digging up the past.
I had the opportunity to do some inner child work in a few different modalities myself and discovered a brand new way of looking at the past (and the future!). Kundalini yoga is a transformative, movement medicine which meets you where you are at. It is not there to hurt you, only awaken you to the true and purest version of you. I noticed that with intention, & with gently nudges in meditation & kriya yoga, I could visualise & hold that version of myself close, offer myself the love & protection I may have not had when I needed it, & began to have some closure, began to thrive, & let go of the things I held onto that were sticky & difficult.
If you feel the call to join us...
